PGA Tour champion, ‘Parneviks’ TV star in Sweden buys a new home in Florida
Swedish professional golfer and TV star in the real estate industry Jesper Parnevik and his wife Mia dig out the old Florida beach feel in the Ocean Walk community of Jupiter and pay $ 1.23 million for a 3-bedroom house a stone’s throw from the water.
The Parneviks, who sold their waterfront mansion in Tequesta for $ 9 million in June, plan to remove it Jupiter home on Angelfish Lane “to the studs” and start over, said Echo Fine Properties Realtor Suzanne Slate, who represented the seller in the sale on February 1.
Slate said the price is the highest paid per square foot for an unrenovated property in the neighborhood, but it was not a slam dunk. The Parneviks were in Europe during part of the pandemic and traveled but closed after two weeks when they decided to buy.

“They really liked the community and the house, so after a few rounds back and forth, they decided to join,” Slate said of the couple, whose Florida-based reality soap aired for four seasons on Swedish television.
Ocean Walk is considered a luxury boutique community with approximately 185 homes nestled between the Federal Highway and the ocean and north of Jupiter Beach Club. The two-story house on Angelfish Lane was built in 1980 and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The Parneviks, who have four adult children, were represented by Waterfront Properties Realtor Angela Voland.
Voland said the couple was drawn to the home’s proximity to the sea. They had looked at properties by the sea, including on Singer Island, while discussing whether they wanted to get involved in a protracted renovation project.
“My wife has topped there for the last 20 years but there is never anything for sale,” said Jesper Parnevik about Ocean Walk. “We did Intracoastal and we had the boat and we wanted to try something different.”

Parnevik, 56, is known for his eclectic and colorful style, which wears a baseball cap with the banknote folded up for several years before he changed things up with a straw hat in boat style. An article from 2016 about PGA.com called Parnevik a PGA Tour fashion pioneer.
Parnevik said the couple was looking to downsize from their 9-bedroom Tequesta home and joked that a smaller house would limit the number of visitors.
“It is very dark and very cold in Sweden this time of year, so I am sure they will knock anyway,” he said.
