The stick said whether Ukraine can abandon NATO in exchange for security guarantees – TSN Exclusive – tsn.ua
The People’s Deputy stressed that the war is the worst case scenario, so everything must be done to prevent it.
The leader of the For the Future party, Ihor Palitsa, commented on the view that Ukraine may refuse to join NATO in exchange for security guarantees.
He announced this on February 17 live on a socio-political talk show “The right to power” at 1 + 1.
“If we do not participate in NATO and we are now that we will not take in the next 10 years, and we give a level of assurance that nothing will change, we certainly must think that there is no war,” – Stick.
The leader of the party “For the Future” voted that war is the worst case scenario, so you need to do everything to avoid it. Palitsa believes that if there is a real question of abandoning NATO, this issue should be raised only for the all-Ukrainian referendum.
“If abandoning NATO is a way out … I don’t know. Does one president or foreign minister have the right to make a decision? He has no right. This must be endured in the first place publicly in parliament. The parliament is setting up a platform to discuss this topic. And if there is such a need – to submit only to an all-Ukrainian referendum. We have no right to decide for the people“- he is convinced.
At the same time, Palitsa reminded that according to the latest opinion poll, more than 60% of the polled citizens were in favor of Ukraine’s accession to NATO and the European Union.
Earlier, Russian journalist Yulia Latinina spoke about Putin’s plans.
