Portugal does not recognize Brazil certificate from Brazil

The government maintains, so far, the condition of reciprocity for the recognition of the document. The authorities started when a Portuguese delegation visited Brazil. Fines
All travelers are screened if they do not have a negative record for the virus. Airlines can also only allow passengers to board upon presentation of the test. If they do not respect the rule, fines are also imposed on companies.
Also according to the rules, those who disembark must complete the Passenger Location Form. This week, the government warned in a statement that people who do not carry out the procedure can be fined up to 800 euros. For airlines, a fine of up to 40,000 euros is foreseen.
Portugal allows the entry of tourists from Brazil since September 2021. As it has been since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the evaluation of the list of countries authorized to travel to Portugal without essential reasons is carried out monthly.
The government does not say when it will keep the periodic review even of the trips. Therefore, people traveling to the country in the coming months should follow the decisions of the Portuguese authorities. The current document is in effect until the 28th of February.
