San Marino. CSU: “Salariati AASLP, it’s time to move from words to deeds”
The meeting of 7 February concerning the economic part of the sector contract canceled by the Secretariat of State for the Territory. The workers and the trade union demand the quick resumption of the confrontation and the sending of the company reorganization plan
The workers of the AASLP met in the assembly this afternoon in the Montelupo room in Domagnano, summoned by the CSU Construction Federation.
In the assembly, which was very attended by the workers, the point was made on the meeting of last January 26 between the Trade Union and the Secretariat for the Territory, to address the corporate reorganization of the State Production Company. The CSU document, at the end of the meeting, had agreed with the Secretary of State that he would send the new one relating to the reorganization plan of the production company, and at the same time – no less urgent – another moment of confrontation to treat the economic part of the contract in a more targeted way.
To date, the company reorganization plan, which is particularly awaited and necessary, has not been issued, so that the workers in the meeting have not been able to discuss and express themselves on the matter. It was therefore a missed opportunity.
Compared to the meeting requested by the CSU and agreed for last February, the same was canceled7 by the Secretariat of State at the last moment, causing a strong struggle on the part of the employees, as their contract stops the salary tables at stake. for over 10 years; this is even more serious considering that these are among the lowest wages in the entire world of San Marino employment (public and private).
The assembly therefore claims a quick resumption of the confrontation with the counterpart, and asks the Secretariat for the Territory to convene a new meeting as soon as possible. At the same time he urges the Secretariat itself to send the reorganization plan of the AASLP, to allow the Trade Union and the workers to evaluate it in all its aspects. In the absence of timely responses, the assembly reserves the right to undertake the consequent initiatives.
In the face of the Government’s declarations of wanting in favor of workers and citizens with the lowest incomes, also in light of the sharp rise in utility costs and the inflationary recovery, the FULC-CSU believes that recognizing a sacrosanct salary adjustment after so many years for a of the most disadvantaged categories of workers, and the realization of these intentions, so far expressed only in words.
