Achille Lauro, Francesco Monte and the others
It sounded like a joke but instead it was pure reality. Mahmood and Blanco could find themselves competing in the Eurovision Song Contest against Achille Lauro, Francesco Monte, Valerio Scanu and Ivana Spagna. Come? The Italian singers will participate in the talent “Una Voce per San Marino”, the winner will have the right to participate – as a representative of the state of San Marino – in the Eurovision Song Contest (last year Senhit feat. Flo Rida was on stage) .
“Ours is a festival different from the others, singers can participate from anywhere in the world, in any language. It is an opportunity to express themselves that gives the Republic of Freedom and I hope that the Italian artists who sing in other languages will also a little thought about San Marino in the coming years “explained the organizers during the press conference attended by the Secretary of Tourism Federico Pedini Amati, the Eurovision Head of Delegation Alessandro Capicchioni, as well as Vittorio Costa of Media Evolution.
Pausini, Mika, Cattelan are the hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest
Who are the singers who will participate in “Una Voce per San Marino”
Achille Lauro stands out among the names. “By dint of insisting he has finally reached the coast of Sanremo” reveals Media Evolution. Also participating is Alessandro Coli, singer from Santarcangelo, in an international couple with the famous Turkish DJ Burak Yeter. Also in the race Blind, the rapper came to the limelight after participating in “X Factor 2020”. Among the participants who climbed the Ariston there is also Ivana Spagna, gold record in 2006 with over 10 million records sold. The winner of the Sanremo Festival in 2010 was instead Valerio Scanu, who had previously been one of the competitors of Amici di Maria De Filippi.
From Spain there is Cristina Ramos, winner of “Got Talent España” in 2016. And after the great disappointment of not participating in Sanremo Giovani this year, here comes the name of Francesco Monte. He instead participated in the Festival in 2020 among the new proposals also the Brescian singer Matteo Faustini.
On the stage of Una voce per San Marino there will also be drummer Tony Cicco together with the Roman band Deshedus and singer-songwriter Alberto Fortis. Finally there will be the San Marino “wild card” Fabry & La Biuse Feat. Io Miodio. The final will be Senhit, the Italian-Eritrean artist who represented San Marino at Eurovision in 2021, and the Israeli presenter Jonatan Kashanian. The artists will compete with the winners of the semifinals of the talent show.
The final of Una Voce Per San Marino will be held at the Teatro Nuovo di Dogana on February 19th at 8:30 pm, with live broadcast on San Marino RTV. Tickets can be purchased online at vivaticket.
