Riots with injured people in front of nightclubs

According to the police, there were riots and riots between young men in Wals and Anif (both Flachgau) on Sunday night. Police officers who intervened were also attacked. Some suspects would be attributed to the autotuning scene, say eyewitnesses.

The police report speaks of “robbery, bodily harm and several administrative offenses due to aggressive behavior”.
After the fall, the situation escalated
In Anif, the riots began when a bouncer is said to have tried repeatedly to deny a drunken guest access to the bar. The 23-year-old man had an unfortunate fall and needed medical attention. More and more guests of the restaurant would have gathered around the place. The situation had escalated and had “continued to escalate”. A 23-year-old from Salzburg was injured in the face. This too had to be treated by a doctor. Two men aged 24 and 19 behaved more and more aggressively towards police officers who intervened.
Driveways largely blocked off
According to eyewitnesses, the police cordoned off the access areas to the nightclubs in Anif and Wals to prevent further escalation and to carry out controls. During the night, the executive managed to disperse the riots. An eyewitness told the ORF that the emergency services were at times significantly outnumbered.
