The general situation is unlikely to change much during and after the semester break, says Bundesheer officer Peter Schinnerl, head of CoV management in the state of Salzburg: “We do not assume that the holidays will fuel the infections. But we must remain cautious. The obligation to wear masks and the obligation to provide proof on the cable cars also help us a lot to stay in control.”
Retired cops on the après-ski front
Schinnerl announced increased controls for the semester break. You have a special eye on apres-ski bars: “That was a realization of the incidents in December. The police will intensify their controls. There were some situations at Christmas that are not approved.”
The health authorities should also be supported by retired police officers.
