Bitbase Spaniards have no registration in Portugal for digital assets. The warning was given by Banco de Portugal (BdP), days after the company opened its first store in Portugal.
“The Bank warns that Bitbase, Unipessoal, Lda and the Spanish company Bit Base SL do not meet with the Bank as entities that can carry out, in Portugal, activities with active assets, namely, exchange services between virtual assets and currencies fiduciary”, can be read in the statement published by the regulator.
