to die Salzburg League mutated into a one-team show in the fall. the UFC Hallein almost rushed from victory to victory like a steam engine and left the competition behind in a very comfortable way. There’s a lot of traffic behind it. Between the second USC Eugendorf and the ninth TSV Neumarkt are just six points. The severed one is waiting in the basement FC Puch on the redeeming first three of the season.

Salinenstädter towered above all
Nine times they left the field as winners, three times they shared the points with their opponents and only once did they end up empty-handed – the Wintersteller men from Hallein clearly set the tone in the Salzburg league autumn. The very big championship favorite Eugendorf was able to add the only bankruptcy of the season to the Salinenstadt team, but the green-whites from Flachgau drew the short straw in the table. Speaking of the table: the fight for the second regional league ticket is really going strong. With Eugendorf, Golling, Bürmoos, Adnet, Straßwalchen, Bramberg, Siezenheim and Neumarkt, eight teams are within six points. Meanwhile, Thalgau experienced a blatant crash. Still in third place in autumn 2020, the team around goalgetter Mario Bergmüller overwintered in eleventh position.
Tail light Puch badly shaken
With the Puchers, the thread of unsuccessfulness does not and does not want to be broken. The Huber “Buam” are now in last place for the third time in a row after the first chapter of the season. In these three half-seasons, only two wins jumped out.
Trainer change fully in mode
No fewer than four teams will start with a new trainer in the spring. In Eugendorf, Arsim Deliu had to make way for Mario Haslauer, Thomas Heissl took over the vacant position in Adnet from Neo-Grödig coach Tom Schnöll, and in Thalgau Tomislav Jonjic is now in charge. The ripcord was already pulled during the autumn championship: Hallwang, which has since relied on the expertise of Alex Drachschwandtner.
