Futsal: Spain is Portugal’s device in the ‘half’ of the European
Spain beat Slovakia 5-1 this Tuesday in the final game of the European Futsal Championship and it is Portugal’s confrontation in the semi-finals of the competition that takes place in the Netherlands.
In Amsterdam, at the Ziggo Dome, Spain began to build the triumph with one minute of Miguel Mellado’s goal after two.
In the middle of the first half, in the tenth minute, Sergio Lozano increased the difference to 2-0 and, in the 16th minute, ex-Benfica player Raúl Campos emphasized the superiority of Fe Vidal’s commands with the 3-0 on the scoreboard.
In the second half, Mellado made it 4-0 in the 24th minute, just after Martin Smericka was sent off.
The consolation goal of the team led by Marián Berky came in the 34th minute, by Peter Serbin, just before Raúl Campos scored twice for the final 5-1, in the 36th minute of the match.
The other semi-final pits Russia against Ukraine. the russians won this afternoon against Georgia, by 3-1, with a bis from Benfica’s Ivan Chishkala. The Ukrainians had already beaten Kazakhstan on Monday, one of the serious candidates that ended up being left out, by 5-3.
Also on Monday, Portugal beat Finland 3-2 to qualify for the semi-finals and continue to defend the title won in 2018.
The Iberian duel is scheduled for 7 pm on Friday in Amsterdam. The clash between Russians and Ukrainians, on the same stage, is three hours earlier, at 4 pm.
