Air Serbia connects Salzburg Airport with Belgrade » News
On August 2, 2019, Air Serbia launched the city connection between Salzburg and Niš. The cornerstone for further development of the good partnership with Serbia’s national airline was laid back then, emphasizes Christopher Losmann, airport manager.
“We were already overjoyed in 2019 that we were able to establish a good and important connection to Serbia with Niš. The new connection to the hub in Belgrade was mainly due to the good experience with Niš,” says Losmann.
Important hub for the Balkans
The new flights to the capital of Serbia also mean a further expansion of the hub network, which already includes the transfer airports in Frankfurt, Istanbul, Dubai, Amsterdam and Düsseldorf. “These are good omens for ongoing control,” says the airport manager happily.
Air Serbia destinations served via Belgrade include Athens, Bucharest, Dubrovnik, Istanbul, Larnaca, Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopje, Thessaloniki, Sofia, Split, Tirana and Tivat, among others. The Salzburg flights will initially be offered three times a week in summer and twice a week in winter. (Red)
