Flamengo’s top hats return to “shopping” in Lisbon
Flamengo should return for another attempt to sign Portugal. According to journalist Rudy Galetti, from Sky Sport, the Rio de Janeiro club is going after Everton Cebolinha, currently at Benfica, who would have expressed interest in playing for the red-black.
It is recalled that, at the beginning of the year, Portugal became the stage of a soap opera when the leaders of Flamengo were coached by Jorge Jesus, and looking for Paulo Sousa in the manager.
Today everyone is happy with the choice of the other Portuguese, but it is evident that the preference would even be for Mister Jesus, who later ended up being fired by Benfica and remains without a club now.
The case of Cebolinha is as follows: Benfica discard the player at this point and want at least €15 million euros (almost R$90 million) to start the conversations. It’s only about selling, not lending.
Former Gremista Everton Cebolinha arrived at Benfica in August 2020, signed for €20 million euros (R$119 million). So far, he has played 78 matches, scored 13 goals and provided 15 assists.
Nothing is certain yet. The important thing is that the leaders of Flamengo really like to go shopping in Lisbon. We can return with Chives or another product in our luggage.
