Vaccination bus tour through the districts of Innsbruck

With their own vaccination bus, the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce (WK) and the city of Innsbruck want to offer vaccinations for everyone. Those who want to be vaccinated can receive their first or second vaccination on ten days in all parts of the city without an appointment.
Vaccination is still the most effective remedy against the pandemic, emphasized the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce in its broadcast. The easy accessibility of the vaccination offers plays a central role.
From February 4th to 27th, the vaccination bus commissioned by the WK will stop at ten stations in the various parts of the city. By choosing the locations, one wants to reach the population in the districts, explained Vice Mayor Johannes Anzengruber (ÖVP) the motives for the joint project.

Focus on vaccination and education
If you want, you can get vaccinated there without an appointment. In addition to vaccination for adults, the focus is on educating and vaccinating children and young people, explains the chairman of the WK district office in Innsbruck, Franz Jirka. Vaccination helps to raise the vaccination rate as quickly as possible and thus restore normal operations for many farms.
costs are shared
The costs of the vaccination project are shared between the partners. WK Tirol bears the cost of the vaccination bus, including personnel and equipment, while the city bears the costs for communicating the offer, letting the individual locations and the costs for the Mobile Monitoring Group (MÜG).
