The search for the wanted man was successful. Police were able to pick him up in a restaurant. He was brought to the Salzburg prison, as the Salzburg State Police Department informed on Tuesday.
After extradition proceedings, the Croat is said to be transferred to Slovenia, where he was convicted by a court of the brutal attack. The authorities in Salzburg do not provide any information on whether the man even started the imposed detention or whether he was convicted in absentia when asked by the APA.
