Season 2022 – «Metanand» back in the concert hall
The seats in the SAL Schaan or in the Vaduz town hall hall stayed empty long enough when the artistic performances of the musicians of the Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra (SOL) were broadcast live on the screens of the subscribers and individual customers. With regard to the 34th season in 2022, the artists of the SOL can hardly wait to be able to perform in front of full audiences again.
But enough thoughtful words, because the 2022 season has too much to offer for that to be experienced from home. That is why those responsible around the artistic director and managing director Drazen Domjanic decided on the motto of the season “Comeback” for two reasons: on the one hand, well-known artists back to Liechtenstein and to the SOL. On the other hand, the motto “Comeback / Return” is based on the secret wish of the artistic director Drazen Domjanic: “Come back – please come back to us in the concert hall”.
Following the motto, two artists who have already been guests are invited to the concert series “SOL im SAL”, which is dedicated to the great symphonies of classical music. In addition to the finger acrobat Martina Filjak, who won over the audience in 2012, it is the violinist Emmanuel Tjeknavorian who appeared in 2013 as a “Young Artist” with the SOL. But new greats also find their way to SOL, including the Swiss star soprano Regula Mühlemann and the Lithuanian conductor Giedrė Šlekytė. Your program at the 3rd “SOL in SAL” is under the auspicious motto “Love & Death”.
Four musicians from Liechtenstein, three of whom have trained for years at the local International Music Academy, create their own program in collaboration with their musical friends as part of the chamber music concert series “ERLEBE SOL”: “Metanand”! The resulting synergy effects are more unexpected, which the listeners can especially look forward to.
The SOL also brings a breath of fresh air with the concert series “SOL goes international. After a brilliant opening concert in the Tonhalle Maag in Zurich, the next thing on your list is a very special city – namely Berlin! On November 23, 2022, the SOL will make its debut in the Great Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic. THEREFORE, THE SOL WILL BE CARRYING THE NAME OF Lichtenstein beyond the national borders with its presence. The SOL representatives will make an offer to interested parties from the region for this Berlin trip. If you are interested, YOU can inform yourself in advance and register with the SOL management.
With a positive view of the future, SOL is looking forward to the many possible projects it has won for 2022: Stephanie Beck at the harp and the young pianist Emil Laternser. They are accompanied by two up-and-coming young conductors. You should also mark the VADUZ CLASSIC 2022 festival in red in your calendar. Not only the SOL WILL take over one or the other concert evening, singers of absolute world class will also be guests and cast a spell on the audience in the heart of Vaduz.
As you can see, the SOL spares no expense in order to celebrate the musical culture in Liechtenstein and to offer you a varied program at the highest level. And here the circle closes. Enjoy classical live music and celebrate an unforgettable «comeback» together with the SOL.
