The contagion starts to rise again. In Friuli Venezia Giulia there is a fear of the encore wave
Friuli Venezia Giulia which has discovered the Omicron variant for the first time on its territory it now fears a new wave, just when the previous one finally seems to be channeled towards the descent. And the ascent starts at a high point on the curve, with the hospitals already partially occupied and a high level of circulation.
THE REVERSE
Over six hundred more infections than last week. Here is the fact that scares the region. In the last seven days, the cases detected by the Civil Protection were 4,848 while in the previous period they were 4,240. This is a new peak, this time unexpected, which effectively belies the downward trend that seemed to have begun last week. And the data is worrying, because it also concerns hospitalizations. In fact, in seven days, ICUs have grown by six units. In contrast, the patients in Medicine fell by 25 units.

PREDICTION
«What we hope for – said Vice President Riccardi – is the beginning of a decline. Much depends on the vaccination campaign: the goal of reaching 400 thousand administrations in December is ambitious but we can achieve it. In the next few days we play a lot and the third dose can be an excuse to avoid prudent and responsible behavior: a mask, distancing and respect for the rules are necessary. This does not mean staying indoors, but paying close attention to behavior ».
