Slovenia
The issuer RTVSLO announced the 16 artists who will participate in the EMA, the traditional national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.

- Jonatan Haller – Obzorje (Horizon)
- July Jones – Girls can do anything
- Klara Jazbec – Pursuing dreams
- The Serpentine – Tud Teb Se Lahk Zgodi (It Can Happen to You)
- Manouche – Si Sama? (You are alone?)
- Mia Guček – Independent (Independent)
- Vedran Ljubenko – H₂O Diet
- Zala Smolnikar – V Ogledalu (In the mirror)
These well-known artists will be joined by 4 other emerging artists, who will be chosen through the selection EMA FRE, thus bringing the total number of participants to 20. The names of the 4 singers will be revealed Friday 24 December.
EMA 2022 will consist of two semifinals, each of which with 8 established artists and 2 two emerging ones, in which the spectators and the juries will decide the 6 who will access the final, which will see a total of 12 contenders to the represented Slovenia in Turin.
Moldova
Teleradio-Moldova launched the national selection for theEurovision Song Contest 2022. Until January 24, singers will be able to send their songs to the broadcaster. Singers must be over 16 and songs must not have been released before September 1, 2022.
The Moldovan selection will take place in two stages. The pieces received will be evaluated between January 25th and 28th before the live auditions take place on January 29th. The selected singers will participate in the Moldovan selection which should take place on March 5th.
San Marino
Yes is completed the first selection phase from A voice for San Marino, the process of choosing SMRTV for theEurovision 2022. The second will take place from 3 to 11 January, while the grand final will take place in February.
Over 400 artists arrived from all over the world with the hope of San Marino in Turin. For the first three classified up to 7,000 euros, while the first nine will compete in the final against nine other big Italians invited by Evolution of the media.
Romania
TVR announced that 94 artists have submitted pieces to compete in the Selecţia Naţională, the Romanian selection forEurovision Song Contest 2022. 40% of the proposals received from countries such as Sweden, the UK and Bulgaria.
A jury of 5 experts will select 45 songs from all those received, on 20 and 21 December. The results will be announced by December 23rd.
The 45 tracks will compete in a semi-final divided into two steps. From 5 to 10 February a jury and the public have the opportunity to vote for the songs online. The jury will select 15 songs, while the public will select 5, for a total of 20 songs.
The February 12 a televised semifinal will be held, with live performances of the twenty finalists. A jury will select ten songs that will access the final, which will be held on March 5th. The winner will be determined by a public vote promise and jury vote.
