CNN Portugal: brand awareness is increasing among the Portuguese
For 22% of the surveys, the brand exceeded expectations

After almost a month of broadcasting, CNN Portugal is increasingly recognized by the Portuguese public. The Pythagorean survey for CNN Portugal and TVI reveals that the brand’s notoriety is increasing among the Portuguese.
From November to December, CNN Portugal was recognized by more than half of those interviewed, a journey that rose from 40% to 58%.

As far as spontaneous notoriety is concerned, that is, when it is considered a type of service or product, CNN and CNN Portugal increased the numbers after a month.
For 22% of respondents, CNN Portugal exceeded the level of expectations they had about the brand, considering it “better / much better”. For 39% of people, CNN Portugal is at the level they expected. Only 6% revealed that CNN is worse than expected.
More than half of those interviewed said that they had already watched a CNN Portugal program, with an emphasis on men.
Compared to other channels, the perception of Portuguese viewers about CNN Portugal is positive. Almost 30% of respondents interviewed by CNN had better information than what already existed in Portugal.

The field work took place between the 7th and 12th of December 2021, having collected 625 telephone calls, which corresponds to a maximum margin of error of +/- 4.00% for a confidence level of 95.5%.
