Summer in Sweden: Delta flies New York-Stockholm 2022
The flight starts on June 1 and offers daily service without a stopover in addition to connections from all over the US to Delta’s JFK hub.

Delta Air Lines will return to Sweden in the summer of 2022, with non-stop daily service from New York-JFK. Customers who fly to the capital Stockholm will have a larger selection of cabin experiences, including Delta One business class. Delta Premium Select is also available for the first time, the airline’s premium economy cabin, which offers larger seats with more legroom and an adjustable footrest.
The flight starts on June 1 and offers connections from all over the USA at Delta’s JFK hub. Delta has rebuilt its network since international borders reopened earlier this year. With the addition of Stockholm to its route map for 2022, Delta will have more than 100% capacity increase on European routes next year compared to the summer of 2021. In total, Delta plans to operate up to 70 daily flights to 21 destinations in Europe from 10 US airports next summer.

Delta will offer the most transatlantic flights from New York-JFK and Boston, as well as the Delta Premium Select experience on all European flights for the first time.

All customers will enjoy personal backrest entertainment screens with new premium content, including playlists curated by Spotify and “Class in the Clouds”, a collection of well-being-focused content from Peloton exclusively for Delta customers. This in addition to on-demand Wi-Fi for purchases and free mobile messaging. During the meal service, customers also receive a selection of starters together with an appetizer and dessert in addition to a complete range of bars or soft drinks. Those traveling in Delta One can pre-order their meal. On the ground, eligible customers can also enjoy free lounge access, including to Delta Sky Clubs in the United States. Delta’s services from Stockholm are operated in collaboration with Delta’s partners Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic.
