San Marino. Parking spaces and roads, protest in Serravalle
Viability in the center of Serravalle: protest mounts among citizens and traders.
A group of them, in a letter to the press, highlights “their dissent for the disappointment that still exists today towards local institutions, on the issue of traffic.
We are forced to make public petitions because our interlocutors do not listen to us and it seems we have to talk to deaf people ”.
Several criticalities highlighted:
1. They came missing a dozen parking spaces with no reason. How can customers approach commercial activities? Especially with the daily presence of the Civil Police ready to make fines? If the intention is to want to close the shops, they are on the right path;
2. for some years it has been eliminates the passage of public transport, we are certainly the only country in the world that opts for a choice of this type;
3. the institutions speak of one way in the country and we let them know with those directly concerned and with the whole community before reasoning about this change;
4. is need to open the country’s revenue (see Music-in junction), closed a few years ago, loading all the traffic at the roundabout of the sports center. It is unthinkable to talk about traffic solutions and at the same time have the roads occupied by parked cars “.
Citizens hope for a serene and constructive confrontation “to find agreed solutions, otherwise we will make our position felt heavily”.
From the microphones of Rtv the Captain of the Castle Roberto Herculaneum he replied admitting that “the problems are many”. On the parking lots, he said that those in Piazza Bertoldi have been “restored to law”.
