Record budget enables more green jobs at Salzburg AG
Looking for new, committed people in the technical and digital fields
Salzburg (OTS) – The record budget of 324 million euros for more climate neutrality now enables Salzburg AG to address new, tech-savvy talents. More creative minds are needed, especially in the areas of innovation and digitization. “We as Salzburg AG also have the historic task of using our know-how and experience to advance the European Union’s Green Deal,” explains Salzburg AG CEO Leonhard Schitter. This not only means the generation of clean, regional energy and heat, but also the massive expansion of broadband. “People want to be part of the climate solution, especially when it comes to preserving our nature and decarbonising our everyday lives. As a Green Tech Company, we offer committed people the opportunity to work actively on a clean, green future with a green job, ”says Schitter. “In the MINT areas, we are currently posting jobs like never before in our company’s history.” Photovoltaics and the associated energy solutions in particular are developing rapidly. That is why there are job profiles at Salzburg AG today that did not exist a few years ago. “For example, in addition to engineers in the electrical and information sector, we now also need data engineers, cloud experts and agile coaches,” continues the Salzburg AG CEO.
Some experts in the field of digitization recently docked with the company. “Salzburg AG plays a pioneering role for a sustainable and technological future. As an innovation manager, you have the opportunity to help shape this energy transition, ”explains Sandra Schäfer. “I came to Salzburg AG through the talent grant. The possibilities that are offered here to combat climate change are enormous. For me, you are the reason to tackle new things with motivation and commitment every day, ”emphasizes business developer Julia Brunhuber. For innovation managers Max Knot and Maria Gomez (Customer Experience Manager), too, the motivation to get involved with Salzburg AG was the prospect of working for a company that is tackling the technology in the green tech area so consistently. Reason to apply for one of the many vacancies.
