Student missing in Badajoz wanted also in Portugal
The searches to find a missing youth since the beginning of the month in Badajoz, Spain, were extended to the entire Portuguese territory.
Pablo Sierra Moreno, 21, disappeared on December 3, after being seen in a bar where he allegedly had a minor disagreement with another person. The cell phone of the Mathematics student at the University of Extremadura was found next to the Guadiana.
The authorities have now decided to extend the search and investigation perimeter to Portugal, given the proximity to Badajoz and suspicions that there is a relationship with his disappearance.
The association SOS Desaparecidos, in collaboration with the young man’s family, produced posters in Portuguese – which include a photograph of the young man and his description – which are being circulated in Portugal with the aim of gathering clues about his whereabouts.
The family’s spokesman, Joaquín Amills, quoted by the newspaper El Mundo, said on Monday that “it is trying to find Pablo in good condition, because there is nothing to prove otherwise”, not ruling out, however, any other another suspect.
The case is under judicial secrecy and the Spanish police are working against the clock to clarify what happened on the night of December 3rd in Badajoz.
