However, this threat seems to be aimed mainly at those who have Gmail addresses and it’s easy to see why. Whether we have an Android smartphone or we need a free email service, we all have Gmail. Now this becomes attractive to those who want to harm us. The latest threat is using people’s fear of the variant omicron to make kill. What criminals look for is our personal data through threats that reach Gmail and other email addresses.

As the new variant of COVID-19 Omicron continues to dominate the agenda, someone is trying to pull out of this. So there are fake messages posing as SNS communications offering free trials for people to avoid restrictions. This is because they go to the ball, watch a show or a disco.
The interesting messages that this new test was specially developed to detect the Omicron variant and who will make it able to travel and do other things without having to always ask for certificates. Then the message offers a link for people to upload and schedule.
Of course this is a lie, but things are well done. People are invited to enter personal information such as citizen card details. In some cases, bank information is required.
What can I do with the citizen card data?
Nowadays a lot. Don’t forget that if someone has all the data on your citizen card, they will be able to open accounts with operators, hire services and much more. Is that many things can be done over the phone just by giving the address, taxpayer and more.

Because unfortunately people who are desperate to schedule a test are taken advantage of. In other words, it’s shameful.
