Innsbruck – Late on Saturday afternoon, a serious traffic accident occurred on Hallerstrasse in Innsbruck. At around 5:40 p.m., a 40-year-old driver had pulled into the street from a property exit. A 36-year-old – who was on the right lane into town – was unable to brake in time and hit the vehicle that was turning in with her car.
The 36-year-old’s car was then thrown into the left lane, where it came to a standstill, badly damaged. The vehicle of the 40-year-old German was thrown by the impact on a parked vehicle immediately after the exit and came to a standstill there, also badly damaged.
The 36-year-old and her 19-year-old passenger were able to get out of the badly damaged vehicle on their own. The 40-year-old’s vehicle was so badly damaged that the Innsbruck professional fire brigade had to rescue the injured person using rescue shears. All those involved were brought from the rescue to the Innsbruck clinic. (TT.com)
