Pandemic break. The viral charge of the delta in a part of Slovakia is weak, only the southwest is stronger
Is the strength of the delta in Slovakia already declining?
In general, higher viral loads (i.e., lower number of PCR cycles required to reach the detection limit) reduce the advancing wave, as they are more infected at the beginning of infections when the viral loads are higher. In principle, the system of a person who receives a viral infection begins to deal with the situation. If the virus does not recognize it (because it does not have to deal with it, it has not yet encountered it), then the virus starts to multiply and the virus load increases until later it starts to decrease when immunity is activated. For those who have learned immunity, they will begin to decline faster because it hits sooner.
How are we currently doing regionally?
Viral charges have been gradually declining since November, mainly in the north-east of Slovakia (ie the Prešov, Košice, Žilina and Banská Bystrica regions). In the southwest of Slovakia (ie the Bratislava, Trnava, Trenčín and Nitra regions), the viral loads are not only higher than in the northeast, but have also jumped even higher in recent days.
