On Monday, December 6th, ID Princess Nora von Liechtenstein, in her role as President of the Board of Trustees of Special Olympics Liechtenstein, met Sports Minister Dominique Hasler for the ceremonial signing of the performance agreement for the years 2022 to 2024 in the government building.
On the occasion of the signing of the performance agreement, both sides emphasized the good cooperation and are happy about the continuation of the agreement. Sports Minister Dominique Hasler thanked ID Princess Nora for her personal commitment to disabled sports in Liechtenstein. But she also specifically highlighted the selected commitment of the entire organization. In return, ID Princess Nora was pleased about the appreciation that the government showed for the whole of society for the Special Olympics and the Special Olympics Liechtenstein Foundation. The inclusion of people with disabilities is at the center of society. It was agreed that sport is a suitable means of living inclusion, but that this is an ongoing process and continues to require and deserve everyone’s commitment. The continuation of the performance agreement confirms and consolidates this request.

It is based on the principles of ethics and is independent and neutral. SIE is non-profit, does not pursue any economic goals and is not profit-oriented.
