Movida, joint checks in Pisa over the weekend
Joint control service in Pisa, after what was decided in the prefecture in the provincial committee for public order and safety.
Police headquarters, Polstrada, Polfer, carabinieri, financial police and traffic police, carried out thorough checks over the weekend, especially in the areas of the historic center frequented by hundreds of young people.
22 vehicles and 126 people were stopped (among these 2 people were accompanied to the offices of Polfer, the first for notification of an old judicial pending and one 45-year-old woman, originally from Versilia, who disappeared from home and returned to her mother in the middle of the night who came to take her back). Four administrative penalties for the itinerant sale of alcohol, in violation of the ordinance of the mayor of Pisa which prohibits the sale for take-away in the time slot 17/1, 30, with the seizure of 37 bottles of beer;
1 administrative sanction for the takeaway sale of alcohol against a commercial establishment in Lungarno Pacinotti;
2 sanctions for acts contrary to public decency, against as many young people caught urinating in the alleys of the historic center; a decree of suspension of the license for the administration of food and beverages, and therefore the temporary closure pursuant to article 100 of the Tulps of a commercial establishment in Piazza delle Vettovaglie.
Numerous young people also coming from outside the province to participate in the Pisan nightlife, for which targeted surveillance services were carried out at the station and checkpoints with patrols equipped with breathalysers. The patrols of the Carabinieri Company of Pisa involved in the device reported 3 people for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: withdrawn 3 licenses and subjected to administrative seizure 3 vehicles.
