Austria Lustenau defends first place – St.Pölten wins away
While Lustenau remained first with a 2-0 win over Horn, Innsbruck suffered another defeat after three wins in a row.

Austria Lustenau has extended the table lead in the 2nd division for a short time. The green-whites won 2-0 against SV Horn at home in the Planet Pure Stadium on Friday and are six points ahead of Liefering. Salzburg will meet Blau Weiß Linz on Saturday. The FAC and Lafnitz parted with a 2: 2, Innsbruck lost against St. Pölten 1: 2. The SKU Amstetten presented themselves again in a goal mood, having achieved the fifth clean-to-zero victory in a row.
Saracevic gave Lustenauer the lead in the 57th minute, Wallace (69th) made the preliminary decision with a second goal. Vorarlberg had not won the two previous games. Liefering can reduce the deficit on Lustenau to a maximum of three points on Saturday, the cooperation club of Austria’s champions Red Bull Salzburg is not eligible for promotion.
Joker brings St. Pölten a sporty threesome
SV Lafnitz saved a draw at FAC. Oliveira (13th) had made it 1-0 for Floridsdorf with a penalty, Umjenovic (19th) equalized a little later. In the second half, the renewed FAC lead by Bubalovic (51st) was answered immediately: Storm veteran Wendler scored in the 55th minute to the later final score. Both clubs have now been unbeaten in four games.
The mini-series from Wacker Innsbruck, on the other hand, is torn.
