69 schools in Salzburg are without a school doctor
Compulsory schools can hardly find school doctors. Unlike high schools, doctors are not employed there. That makes the job unattractive.
In the Obertrum elementary school, there will be no screening tests for schoolchildren. The school is one of 69 compulsory schools in Salzburg that currently have to do without a school doctor. This resulted in a state parliament request from the SPÖ to LH-Stv. Christian Stöckl (ÖVP).
