The new team that will face the 2021/22 season is called Avalanche Andretti Formula E and the director, Michael Andretti, showed that he is committed to following up on the bet made from the beginning in this motorsport category with a sponsor of today.
“As a founding team of Formula E, we believe in the mission and future of the championship and are excited to bring on board an innovative partner like Avalanche”, said the son of Mario Andretti in a quote from “Racer”.
The end of the seven-year partnership between BMW and the German manufacturer’s exit from Formula E does not imply the loss of engines. Andretti cars will continue with the BMW RacingeDrive03, now as an independent team with the digital financial services platform as the main sponsor.
Scream for all our new #Avalanche friends!
Let’s get to know each other with 3 questions:
1. Where are you from? (We are from Indianapolis)
2. Have you ever watched a #ABBFormulaE race yet? (We watch EVERYONE!)
3. Most used emoji? (We are really starting to love 🔺)#AllAndretti pic.twitter.com/1bWvuTMkqi– Andretti Autosport / #AllAndretti (@FollowAndretti) October 21, 2021
A pair of drivers still have only one familiar name and Jake Dennis keeps his place from last season with a third place in the Worlds. The 26 year old British driver was also in Lisbon and he too shared the new colors of his car.
