Landjugend Salzburg: The Landjugendreferat – With new momentum in an exciting club year
Landjugend Salzburg bid farewell to managing director Elisabeth Weilbuchner and rural youth officer Margreth Rehrl. Two new committed people move up. Katharina Hangöbl (Lamprechtshausen) takes over the management and Julia Grill (Geretsberg) takes over the activities of the rural youth officer.
Katharina Hangöbl is 22 years old and comes from northern Flachgau. The Lamprechtshauserin took over the management of the Landjugend Salzburg in October. Before taking on her role in the rural youth department, she worked for B&R Industrial Automation GmbH and was able to gain some experience in the field of customer training. She likes to spend her free time in the midst of rural youth and is often out and about in nature. “My passion is music,” says the Salzburg native. She likes to sing and usually accompanies herself on the guitar. “I am very happy to bring the rural youth department to the short term and to bring in my experiences from the last few years. For me, rural youth means: together we make the impossible possible! Whether singing on Mother’s Day, participating in church events or setting up, working and dismantling the local youth ball. When young, motivated people meet and help together, you can achieve great things. “
Julia Grill has also been a new member of the rural youth department since October. She comes from Geretsberg, which is located in the beautiful Innviertel. Julia Grill has been the head of the Geretsberg local group for five years and has also been an education coordinator at the district level in Braunau since last year. Thanks to her many years of rural youth experience, she was now able to turn her hobby into a profession. “A colorful bunch with a vision. For me this is the rural youth and I always find it nice how solidarity and community are capitalized here, ”says the Innviertel woman proudly.
Together with Julia Hochwimmer (Bramberg), who has been working in the rural youth department since May 2020, the three form a strong team for the rural youth in Salzburg. “It is for us to support local groups as well as the best possible in their voluntary work and to offer an attractive program. The festive start at the general assembly in September was the perfect starting signal for a brilliant new year. “
