INNSBRUCK. Innsbruck city derby in Hatting, back on the green grass after injury, clear victories for the Innsbruck women’s soccer team. Christoph Eller as IAC goal machine in the Hypo Tirol League.
Oddities
A city derby usually emotionalises the fans. Not so common at the derby between FC Wacker Innsbruck II and SVI in the tt.com Regionalliga Tirol. The duel between the traditional clubs took place in Hatting, as FCW does not play its home games in Innsbruck. In the farewell game of Masaki Morass (change as interim coach to the Wacker professionals), FC Wacker won 3-1 in front of 200 spectators (goal scorers: Paoloni Bertaccine, Rami Tekir, Rio Nitta and Lukas Tinzl). Generali Union Innsbruck is delighted with Kevon Kovac’s return to the green. After his injury break, Kovac will play in the game against SV Völs as a substitute. But not in his regular position in goal, but as an outfield player. The Union has had personnel problems due to injuries, bans and vacations since the beginning of the season. Goalscorer: IAC self-build player Christoph Eller has a perfect run. After his hat trick last weekend, he scored four goals in the home game against Kematen.
