Sweden vs Kosovo – Football Match Report – October 9, 2021
Striker Alexander Isak scored a world-class goal to add an Emil Forsberg penalty and a superb solo effort by Robin Quaison when Sweden cruised to a 3-0 victory over Kosovo in their World Cup Group B qualifiers on Saturday.
The home side put themselves ahead 1 – 0 after 29 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Florent Hadergjonaj, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing.

Kosovo leveled the score after 57 minutes to make it 1 – 0, as Vedat Muriqi struck home after a fine midfield combination through the center, which left him completely unmarked.
However, the goal was ruled out for offside to the relief of a Swedish defense that lacks Victor Lindelof, who is at home due to the impending birth of his second child.
The 22-year-old Isak then raised the crowd to his feet shortly after the hour mark with a stupid dribbling and shot, and from the resulting corner he picked up the ball to the left and cut in before hitting an unstoppable effort in the top right corner.
Substitute Quaison muscled over the Kosovo defense to make it 3-0 in the 79th minute and secure a win that leaves the Swedes second in the group of 12 points, one behind the leaders Spain with one game less played. Kosovo is four on four points.
