Temperatures are falling in Salzburg

A similar weather picture emerges on Tuesday, albeit with less precipitation. In most of Austria it is repeatedly sunny and cloudy through the day. However, the clouds are a little more persistent in the northern Alps and in some areas in the north, and individual rain showers cannot be ruled out here.

A cold front pulls through from the west on Wednesday. From Vorarlberg to Upper Austria, there are dense clouds and rain showers from early on. These then spread to the east and south-east, where it is initially still temporarily sunny. From the west, however, the weather slowly calms down again in the course of the afternoon. The thermometer climbs to 16 degrees in Salzburg.

Sun fights through cloud cover

In the northern reservoirs along the north side of the Alps, heavier clouds will hold up even longer on Thursday. It can rain a little here at first. Easy until the afternoon, but open everywhere, then the sunshine. The wind blows weak to moderate. The maximum daily temperatures are below 15 degrees.

From today’s perspective, a few early fog fields must be expected on Friday. After that, the sun prevailed in large parts of the country. When the wind is weak, the temperatures can quickly reach 20 degrees.
