Winning regions receive grants for critical initiatives
More than 2.2 thousand applications were received for the competition of the primary branches of United Russia, more than 2.6 thousand seats of the party branches were accepted for participation in the competition, said Alexander Sidyakin, head of the Central Executive Committee of the party, on the proposal of the competition commission.
“1,391 applications came from local offices where people mostly live in remote areas, 633 from local offices in small towns, 213 from concentrated offices in distributed centers of territories. Submitted by the leaders of the Altai Territory, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow and Rostov Regions,” he told the composition of the competition commission.
According to him, more applications came from the Volga Federal District, the Siberian Federal District, the highest percentage of applications from the total number of places.
Alexander Sidyakin emphasized that all 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation will receive grants.
“We determined 917 applications worth 115 million rubles as winners, of which: 104 applications – from the placement of branches in distributed centers of subjects; 283 – from local branches in small towns; 530 from local branches,” he said.
In turn, the Deputy General Council of United Russia, Daria Lantratova, said that the most important initiatives on competitive projects are placed by United Russia branches and are dedicated to youth and patriotism, which proves the relevance of the presence for the whole country.
“Supporting youth initiatives, expanding opportunities – all this is a concern for the future of our country. It’s great that you attended this request and found out in your projects,” she said.
Also, according to her, many applications related to social problems and infrastructure projects, sports, healthy lifestyles, work with the older generation and veterans.
“Almost 10% of projects are devoted to the development of education and culture, support for social activity and protection of citizens’ rights. Slightly more than 8% of applications are covered by an equally serious topic – family and childhood,” said Daria Lantratova.
Local party branches did not bypass the thematic construction. The competition also considers projects dedicated to ecology and animal protection, healthcare and research.
For example, the Smart Russia project from Nyagan (KhMAO) is a series of historical and patriotic quests. Keywords: “Modern history of Russia”, “Foreign policy of the state”, “Internal policy of the country”, “National projects”, “Facts about the President”, etc. Passing the number of tasks, you need to score the maximum number of points.
“Teams can be formed from students, private enterprises, voluntary associations, public sector workers, large enterprises. Each team, in order to receive additional points, must include their friends, acquaintances, relatives, other residents, so that they vote for them. Those who passed the qualifying rounds made it to the grand final,” explained Nikolai Zabolotnev, head of the regional executive committee of the Khanty-Mansiysk regional branch of United Russia.
Another project to support families with children with development was presented by the inclusive theater studio “Impossible – possible!” city of Gukovo, Rostov region. The studio was created on the basis of the kindergarten “Firefly” for children with disabilities and children with disabilities, it will work from June 1 to September 1.
“Special children require special attention. In the theater studio, they learn to express their feelings, thoughts, emotions, master the basic skills of communication and public speaking,” said Boris Trofimov, secretary of the local branch of the party, chairman of the city Duma, head of the city of Gukovo.
The project “NeighborsFEST”, which was presented by the acting head of the administration of the urban district ZATO “City of Mezhgorye” of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the secretary of the local branch of the party Vyacheslav Kalugin, is aimed at creating a comfortable urban environment, creative public space, and cultural interaction between citizens. Its implementation period is from July 1 to August 13.
“Mezhhirya is a closed city, so it especially needs the development of urban spaces and a comfortable life. Within the framework of the project, festive events are held, a competition for a specially adjacent territory, a competition for children’s drawings, a chess tournament, and a film screening are held,” he said.
We remind you that the decision on other competitions for primary branches was made at the 18th Congress of United Russia. Grants are allocated for selected initiatives by the primary department. Already in 2019, more than 6 thousand projects were submitted for participation in the competition. In 2021, following the results of the competition for grants for the improvement of courtyards, parks, construction of bus stops, mass and creative events were held.
