The Plaza will be open from July 15 to August 21, if the water quality is good, every day. This is constantly monitored, for the first time by a permanent water rescue service in the municipality.
Even during this season, bathing is only possible during opening hours and in the designated area
within strict safety standards, within a buoy line indicating a water depth of one hundred and twenty centimeters.
As the Óbuda municipality wrote on its website, the opening this year was preceded by a survey of the coastal section, strict official and water quality inspections, and a permit from the competent authority. The riverbed has been cleaned and the inspection will be continuous.
In addition to the brutally expensive beach tickets this year, this opportunity is really refreshing. And while we wait for the opening, we can create a little beach atmosphere at home.
