Corsica at the heart of the Marseille International Fair

The Marseille international fair with its 320,000 visitors is the largest fair after Paris. It takes place from September 24 to October 4 and has the particularity for the 4th year of hosting a real village dedicated to Corsica.

An unmissable event that you should not miss if you are in Marseille. It’s at Parc Chanot in the 8th arrondissement.

This island presence owes to Étienne Lovisi and Paul Pierinelli of the Corsic’Azzione Association, organizers of the fair, in partnership with ADEC and the CCI of Haute-Corse.

“For our Corsican village, we are optimizing in Hall 7 of Parc Chanot of 2,000 m2 indoors and 1,000 m2 outdoors, which allows us to welcome 123 exhibitors and to offer more than 400 referenced products. This is the 4th time that we are present and I must say that after the cancellation due to Covid last year, we are really happy to meet all our friends from Marseille from the island diaspora of the PACA region. We are here to ensure the promotion of Corsica that we are moving forward thanks to our artisans, through the promotion of their artisanal, tourist, cultural products … And in particular thanks to producers, associations, s, institutions and start-ups islanders the know-how of our craftsmen. For this 2021 edition there are fewer foreigners than the years and this because of the constraints of other trips but frankly we are really happy to meet again ” says Paul Pierinelli, visibly busy settling the last details a few hours away from an exceptional evening which will take place this Wednesday, September 29.

We are indeed organizing a private party with the poster of the group “Pop Cor’s”, Jean Menconi and the two resident DJs of Via Note Titi Salducci and Joseph Mattera. Obviously there is a way to eat, in particular the tiger veal of Jacques Abatucci from Serra di Ferro, veal sausages, Corsican burgers, veal tartare …, not to mention the other tasting stands of our products ” .
