Good news for cycling enthusiasts. A fourth edition of Vélotour Occitanie will be organized in Toulouse. The rendezvous in the Pink City is set for Sunday, April 16. Some five thousand participants are expected for the occasion.

This cycling meeting is a bike ride in the city and in the very heart of its emblematic places. It has the particularity of taking its participants to places normally closed to two-wheelers, such as theaters or museums. For exemple, the latest edition in Toulouse went to the Alfred Nakache summer swimming pool. Before that, the participants entered the Stadium on the island of Ramier.

What program for Vélotour Occitanie in Toulouse?

The detailed program of the Vélotour Occitanie on April 16 in Toulouse will be unveiled in March. But the organizers are already promising “a course of 15 to 25 km, with around ten exceptional places specially opened”. The ticket office has been open since noon this Thursday, February 2, on the event site. Reduced rates are offered until Sunday, February 5.

Vélotour presents itself as the number one cycling event in France. Created 17 years ago in Dijon, editions are organized in several cities in France, such as Paris, Bordeaux, Tours, and even Orléans.
