Toulouse. The new organic food in the Bourrassol district
Opened last November, “À la Saison Goûteuse” is the new organic grocery store in the Bourrassol district of Toulouse. Focused on fresh products, fruits and vegetables, meats, charcuterie, cheeses, there is also bread, pastries, dry products, bulk, hygiene and cleaning products. Enough to do all your shopping in this 175m² sales area.
“We mainly work on freshness, particularly with local fruits and vegetables from independents or from small groups. There is a strong demand for quality products. People are curious and it is a pleasure to introduce them to vegetables. old and forgotten like cardoon for example”, explains Julien Mattera one of the co-managers. Julien already has several years of experience at the head of an organic food business. With his two associates Anthony Chauvot, a former employee, and Mikaël Dubarry, a childhood friend, they form a team driven by the same taste for customer contact and good food. Quality and affordable prices, they offer anti-waste recovery baskets at the end of the day. But “À la Saison Goûteuse” is not just a store. In three months, the inhabitants of the neighborhood have also made it a place where they like to chat or sit on the sofas that our three managers have reserved for them. “We feel a real neighborhood spirit here and a need to get together. People are happy that we are here and feel good at home. André, who is 83, comes every day with his dog César and it’s a bit our mascot”, laughs Julien.
