From the point of view of the Chamber of Commerce, it is gratifying that many of their suggestions have been taken into account and incorporated into the new framework. In the field of classic Investment funding became various funding priorities defined – depending on the type of project, operational investments from a net amount of 20,000 euros can be supported by a grant. “Small and medium-sized companies in particular will benefit from this,” explains WK President Christoph Walser. In addition, the successful Tyrolean advisory support, a joint funding campaign by the State of Tyrol and the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce, will be continued:
“An important point for us as the Chamber of Commerce is that this joint advisory support focuses on the topics of the environment, energy and sustainability. This actively supports the transformation of the Tyrolean economy towards climate neutrality,” says Walser.
quality before quantity
In the field of tourism promotion, the line “quality before quantity” is consistently pursued. The focus is on quality and service improvements for accommodation and catering establishments. In addition, there will continue to be a separate initiative to support the Tyrolean inns, the successors and the establishment of a significant employee infrastructure. This will, for example, promote investments in staff accommodation – and probably not only for tourism companies, but also for companies in other sectors. Exporting companies will also continue to receive support. Over 40% of Tyrol’s economic output is generated from the export of goods. Therefore, from the point of view of the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce, the continuation of internationalization funding is also an important step for the coming years.
