Vitória SC visits Benfica in the Portuguese Volleyball Cup
Benfica, winner of the last Portuguese Volleyball Cup and outstanding leader of the championship, will host Vitória SC, in the quarter-finals of this edition, dictated the draw held today in Lisbon.
As for Fonte do Bastardo, a defeated finalist in 2022, it will host VC Viana, in a round scheduled for February 19.
The table of games was completed with the clashes between Castêlo da Maia and São Mamede and Sporting and Ala de Nun’Álvares.
The ‘four final’ will be played on the 11th and 12th of March, at the Cultural Center of Viana do Castelo, European City of Sport 2023, following the example of what happened in 2022.
The draw for the ‘quarters’ of the Portuguese women’s Cup also took place today, with games from the previous round still to be played, including the tie between the holder of the trophy, Leixões, and Clube Kairós.
Also to be played is AJM/FC Porto-Benfica, with the winner of this game receiving Vitória SC.
Castêlo da Maia hosts Sporting and the winner of the Leixões-Clube Kairós will host Porto Volei 2014.
