“United Russia” determined the priorities of the party project “Digital Russia” in the Perm Territory
At the public council of the federal project “Digital Russia” held on January 31 in Perm, the United Russia party discussed priority projects in the field of digital transformation of the Perm Territory. This was reported by the press service of the party branch.
The meeting of the council was held by the coordinator of the Federal Party Project “Digital Russia”, a State Duma deputy from the Perm Territory Anton Nemkin. Anton Nemkin spoke about the progress of projects in the regions of Russia. In particular, tax incentives have already been earned for Russian IT companies, new trends have emerged in attracting investment in IT projects at the consumption level, which marked the beginning of attracting priority digital projects in the regions. A special meeting of the council took part in the discussion of party control over the implementation of projects that, at the suggestion of United Russia, proposed additional funding from the federal budget. Among them are the All-Russian programming courses for schoolchildren “Code of the Future”. “Our priority task is to give a talented student of the Perm Territory the opportunity to learn modern programming languages for free, including children from low-income families and children with disabilities. We should not miss a single talent, for many this can become a ticket in life, ”said the State Duma deputy.
Public Council for holding educational events in robotics and programming for schoolchildren from the regions: “Digital Valley of the Kama Region” and part of the project for holding a cyber-Olympiad dedicated to the tercentenary of Perm. The party project will support not only talented schoolchildren, but also teachers. “The future of thousands of talented children, the future of the region’s economy depends on the motivation and study of computer science. And our task is to create the best working conditions in the country,” suggested Anton Nemkin. A working group on the federal platform of the party project will form a proposal on measures to support informatics and their retraining. The second important direction of provision is communication of remote observations. Due to additional funding, another 1,800 settlements can be connected to the Internet.
To give the floor to the regional Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Chernikov, Anton Nemkin was offered to head the public council of the Digital Russia party project in the Perm region. Aleksey Chernikov accepted this proposal, stating that many of the tasks assigned to the federal level in the digital field are ahead of the curve in the Perm Territory. For example, the number of children registered in the Code of the Future program has grown more than tenfold, from 300 to more than 3,000. The Ministry of Education, districts, party structures are also involved in this,” the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
The Minister of Information Development and Communications of the Perm Territory, Petr Shilovskikh, announced the development of a system for accessing residents to digital services and communications. In 2022, the level of provision of settlements with a population of more than 100 people with cellular communications has increased among children. Full coverage is planned for 2024. Along with this, there is a provision of communication between problematic sections of roads in the industrial sector. During 2022, 65 km of such sections were “closed” by connecting, in the plan for 2023 – another 129 km. Industry information systems are actively developing, as well as the transfer of state and municipal services to digital format. To date, 100% of mass socially significant services (86) and ordering services (43) online is significant.
The regional coordinator of the Digital Russia party project in the Perm Territory, Alexander Motrich, spoke about interesting solutions for digitalization in the field of housing and communal services, agribusiness, as well as in import substitution. He drew the participants’ attention to the need to involve a wide range of student IT companies in solving practical problems. “They have excellent projects, and many companies are ready to take on such students, and if their projects are implemented, they will be supported financially and collect children for work,” Alexander Motrich noted.
