Two ministers traveling to Toulouse this Thursday
Double ministerial visit to Toulouse this Thursday, February 2. The Minister of Housing, Olivier Klein, will indeed be passing through Haute-Garonne. There will be a National Council for Refoundation (CNR) on the issues in working-class neighborhoods. Launched last November, the CNR aims to organize public meetings in each territory in order to provide personalized responses to housing-related issues.
This meeting of the CNR will be held in the presence of Dominique Faure, Minister Delegate for Rurality and former MP for Haute-Garonne. During his Visit to Toulouse, Olivier Klein will pass through the Grand Mirail district in order to approach the rehabilitation program put in place. The minister will then meet Jean-Luc Moudenc, mayor of the city.
A National Mountain Council to talk about ecological transition
His trip will also be an opportunity to discuss urban agriculture, participatory housing or consultation with residents in the context of rehabilitation. Finally, Olivier Klein took part in the inauguration of the “Portraits of Toulouse” exhibition at the Chapelle de la Grave. Visible from February 3 to April 2, these photographs honor immigrant Toulouse residents who have recovered from the history of the city through their journey.
On his side, Dominique Faure will take advantage of his visit to Haute-Garonne to hold a plenary meeting of the National Mountain Council. An appointment which will be held in the presence of Carole Delga, president of the Occitanie region, in order to address the ecological transition dictated by the Avenir Montagnes plan.
