The marketing machinery of the unsuccessful presidential candidate Andrej Babiš, which flooded the Czechia with a false campaign before the elections, in which it threatened to drag the country into war in the event of Petr Pavel’s victory, is awaiting at least one visible change.
Info.cz server brought the information that Marek Prchal, who worked with the ex-prime minister for ten years and paid for the symbol of his marketing carousel, is leaving Babiš’s team. He is doing so at a time when Babiš has already lost the third election in a row and his political future is uncertain.
Although Prchal did not manage the ex-prime minister’s presidential campaign, he was the head of Babiš’s marketing during the campaign for the parliamentary elections in 2017, which the ANO movement won. At the post-election press conference, Babiš called Prchal a “social media genius” and planted an iconic kiss on his forehead.
At the same time, she recently admitted the possible interruption of cooperation in an interview with Deník N and the head of Babiš’s campaign, Tünde Bartha. She has been working with the head of ANO for seven years, and before the second round of elections, she did not rule out that in the event of a loss, she and Babiš “maybe rest for a while and gain strength”.
Of course, none of its members can get rid of the responsibility for the scars that Babiš’s marketing team caused to Czech politics as a craft and society by leaving.
Prchal’s end in Babiš’s team so now it only underlines the precarious position in which the chairman of the ANO movement found himself after losing the parliamentary, senate and presidential elections.
