Free Russia Forum Declares Danger “Unwanted” – DW – 02/01/2023
The Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia has recognized the activities of the opposition Free Russia Forum as “undesirable” on the territory of the country. This was reported in a press release from the department, published on Wednesday, February 1.
“According to the results of the study of the materials received, it was established that the activities of the foreign non-governmental organization Free Russia Forum (Republic of Lithuania) constitute a criminal liability for the constitutional construction and security of the Russian Federation,” trade to Russia. It also contains information on the measures taken to combat harassment in the Ministry of Justice for inclusion in the list of organizations recognized as “undesirable” and their disclosure.
The Free Russia Forum was founded in Lithuania by politicians Garry Kasparov and Ivan Tyutrin. The opposition conferences organized by him take place in the Lithuanian occupation of Vilnius several times a year. The tri-war anti-conferences held in 2022 were dedicated to the resolution of the war unleashed by Moscow in Ukraine.
