Fans in Pardubice will go to Slavia in the CFIG Arena

Sugar Mizzy February 1, 2023

“We are very happy that by moving to the new stadium, the partners take football and the first league affiliation in Pardubice very seriously,” says the chairman of CFIG FK Pardubice Vladimír Pitter regarding the cooperation with the companies and further specifies: “We have teamed up with a strong partner and we are pleased that the collaboration specifically refers to the name of the arena.”

What’s new is nice. This is confirmed by other words of the chairman of the club.

“It’s all operationally demanding, but we can find a completely different comfort for fans, the media and all partners than before. Whether it was in the second league in Vinica or in the last two and a half seasons in Dolíček in Prague. That is also why we are pleased that we have established cooperation with the CFIG companies, which have decided to support us,” adds Pitter.

As already written, the new partner is the financial and investment group CFIG, which is based in the city of horse racing. The sport of this company is definitely not far away…

“We have to cooperate in the long term with projects that I think deserve it. Whether it is a charity, we sponsor or we also have a foundation fund. Of course, I must not forget about sports. Not only me, but many of my colleagues in the company are passionate sportsmen. We hold with the motto: In a healthy body, a healthy spirit. That’s why we decided to cooperate and trade clubs in Pardubice. Basically, football was almost the last thing left in the portfolio. So we agreed with Mr. Pitter on a long-term cooperation,” reveals a look at the company’s functioning Martin Chovanec, founder of CFIG.

Of course, money always comes first, but sports achievements are not indifferent to the new partner.

“I believe that cooperation will be beneficial for both parties and we will become one of the main partners of FK Pardubice to help it stay in the competition. Not only that. In building a good name and progressing in the table,” adds Martin Chovanec.

We are finally home

A purely domestic premiere in modern football history also requires the relocation of the Pardubice team. From the area in Vinici to the city center. Endless weekly travel will also be eliminated for the players, management team and fans.

“We are extremely happy for the new stadium, because we have been playing the top competition for two and a half years and we played it in an asylum. We didn’t even have the possibility of pre-match training at Bohemka. So, de facto, we always played outside,” sports manager Vít Zavřel returns to the asylum in Ďolíček.

The situation in Pardubice is not simple. They are currently in last place in the FORTUNA:LEAGUE and they have a difficult task ahead of them on their way to rescue.

“We did our best to be as well prepared as possible for the spring season. We are all aware of where we are right now. We are in last place and we want to do our best to save the first league in Pardubice. on such an occasion when we are taking over a new stadium,” Zavřel realizes.

Pardubice footballers started the spring in Liberec with a 1:1 draw.

The Pardubice club will not only get rid of lengthy travel to matches in Prague, but also taunts. They already have their home tabernacle, which no one can take away from them…

“Not only the players, but also the coaches and management, we will have adequate facilities for the first league. Finally, our club FK Pardubice will be played as a league team. Without a stadium, we were considered a trial team in the league,” he points out.

There is no doubt that the whole of Pardubice, as well as the club, is looking forward to the premiere.

“I’m happy to be able to say: We’re finally home and I’m really looking forward to the support of our friends, which we’ve missed a lot for two and a half years,” concludes sports director Vít Zavřel.
