Triumphant reception for the ice hockey world champions in Cologne
Cologne | A red carpet, the fans lined up when the newly crowned hockey world champions arrived in Cologne at around 11:30 p.m. About 2.5 later than planned.
A fan enthusiastically tells how close the hockey stars are to their fans and how familiar the relationship between the top players, club and fans is. The fan crowd was no longer familiar with over 1,000 enthusiastic hockey fans at Rot-Weiss Köln. The Pänz were allowed to examine the precious metal up close and were thus electrified for the sport. Moments for eternity in the Rot-Weiss Köln clubhouse.
The Cologne hockey players won the world title in India against the team from Belgium. Seven men from the German team come from Cologne. And that’s the 7 in one go: 20-year-old goalkeeper Jean-Paul Danneberg, captain Mats Grambusch, now 30 years young, his 27-year-old brother Tom Grabusch, 28-year-old Timur Oruz, 24-year-old Thies Prinz, 29-year-old Christopher Rühr and 27-year-old Moritz Trompertz. But not only the players come from Cologne, but also assistant coach Pasha Gademann and team doctor Dr. Philip Ibe.
