The office complex on Tüzér Street became the property of the University of Debrecen
Following the handover on January 30, the University of Debrecen (DE) owns the 32,000 square meter property on Tüzér Street. The facility located in connection with the institutional model change of DE in August 2021 is currently owned by the institution known as Forest Offices, which after the sale will continue to operate under the name Forest Center in line with the transforming portfolio.

The chancellor of DE added that the first new tenant will arrive in the building in the spring, which will temporarily serve as a home for the district’s university units under renovation in the coming months.
Speaking about medical and medical services, the chancellor explained that the health management is in the process of planning, during which they will determine which professions will be able to work in the building. The institution also has an independent real estate management company for the effective performance of operational, facility maintenance, and management tasks related to real estate owned by DE.
The activities of UD Forest Center Kft. include the performance of facility-related operational and operational tasks, the coordination of the utilization of free capacities not used by the university, and the performance of landlord tasks related to existing and future lease contracts.
