Verona would not like it lose two strikers at once just a few hours before the end of the transfer market session, with the risk of finding yourself without at least one new striker even after the arrival of Adolfo GauchArgentine former Benevento. The talks between Genoa and Verona, however, continue: should Lasagna be sold to Genoa, Piccoli’s exit to Empoli would be blocked.
Lasagna-Semper: the latest in the exchange between Verona and Genoa
While the two companies continue to negotiate with each other to reach a decisive agreement, Lasagna has already given its go-ahead for the move to Liguria. Genoa offered the attacker a contract with an extra year compared to what is left of the current agreement with Hellas Verona: the 30-year-old and the rossoblù club would therefore go on together until 2026.
Verona, for its part, would complete an investment for the future, realizing the arrival of the Croatian goalkeeper Adrian Always22 years old.
