Thirty artists mobilized for a luminous exhibition in Monaco
Sculptures, objects and photographs around the theme “Light! » are to be discovered from February 10 to 24, at the Salle d’Exposition du Quai Antoine Ier.
The Monegasque National Committee of the International Association of Plastic Arts (AIAP) at UNESCO is organizing its next fair in February 2023, under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II.
The opening of the exhibition is scheduled for Thursday, February 9, from 6:30 p.m. Whether discreet, intense, even dazzling: light will be at the heart of all the works.
Spotlight on Armenia
Like every year, the committee and the members of the AIAP invite artists from a foreign country to jointly exhibit in the Exhibition Hall. This year, Armenia was chosen. “Armenia has an extremely rich history but tirelessly disrupted by invasions. Six young contemporary Armenian artists, such as Gohar Martirosyan, whose film will be screened at the show, will wear the colors of their country.
A conference and discussion – held on Saturday February 11, at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. respectively at the headquarters of the AIAP Committee, 10 Quai Antoine 1er – as well as an exhibition by the Monegasque Red Cross around the work of photographer Nick Danziger will enhance the ‘event. Do not miss !
